Rally

My wife and I have registered for the upcoming May 6-8, 2022 30th Georgia Mountain Rally.

The online registration process (via this FORUM) is set-up well and took only a few minutes. I paid via a credit card and that went through without a hitch. I found the link to lodging options helpful so we also went ahead and made our confirmed motel reservations. Done!

It may seem "early" to be thinking about rallies and gatherings, but I value the people, volunteers and planning activities that need to happen before we arrive in Hiawassee.

I can echo Don's ease with which I was able to sign up! So I have a new bike(2019 BMW R1250RT), a new knee, new left collarbone and would DEFINITELY like get out and ride some of my favorite roads!!

Looking forward to next weekend's GMR.

I know that David Will and his team have put a lot of effort into making it a great event with guided road and off-road rides planned and presentations and demonstrations onsite for those who decide not to roam so far.

Have all my weekend gear picked out and ready to pack. May make it to Hiawassee Thursday night. If not, will definitely be there Friday morning.
