Chicken Rally, anyone?
Author Last Post
I left on Friday about 2:30 and had a leisurely   back road ride from Acworth up to Ringgold and took 75 and similar roads after Chattanooga to get there early enough for good BBQ dinner and to set up before dark. It was  cloudy on Saturday for a group ride but no rain. Some good roads, some not so good. After chicken dinner Saturday, listened again to Lisa and Simon Thomas with the "2 Ride the World" tour description and experiences as they did at the GMR. At 9pm, they warned that in 1/2 and hour the skies would open up and did it ever. Stayed in the tent till 7 am, so heavy rain, thunder and lightning that I had to wear my earplugs. Rain stopped before leaving at around 8:30 for a better ride home than the one going up without any precipitation, just cloudy till closer to home.

The Alabama club is a good group to hang with, even if they call Don Loudermilk one of their own (as we do as well). Was nice to catch up with Don while there.
